Fruitful Work All-In Retreats

Fruitful Work All-In Retreats are small, intentional weekends where you step out of the noise to seek God, open Scripture, and sit in honest discussion about how your careers, where we’ll spend most of our lives, can make disciples.

Not vague inspiration.

But biblical conviction, honest discussion, and concrete next steps.

Why people come

Most of us Christians never stop long enough to wrestle properly with the biggest questions:

  • how does Jesus’ call to make disciples shape my career choices?

  • how can I use what I’ve been given for the greatest Kingdom impact?

  • what would it actually look like to go all-in for Jesus?

All-In Retreats exist to create space for those questions to be taken seriously – prayerfully, biblically, and together.

Three young people sitting in a living room near a decorated Christmas tree. One person with glasses and curly hair is looking at a book, another with a baseball cap is reading, and the woman in the middle is talking and holding a notebook and pen.

These retreats are about space

People serving themselves food at a buffet table in a social gathering, with wine bottles and a bouquet of pink flowers on the table.

All-in careers don’t happen by accident.

They require intention.

And intention requires space.

Fruitful Work retreats are designed to slow everything down.

  • space for honest conversations that continue over meals or a walk

  • space for prayer that flows naturally out of what’s being discussed

  • space for teaching rooted in Scripture that actually engages the mind

  • space to think, reflect, and process without being rushed

People often say the most formative moments don’t happen during the sessions, but in the gaps – walking outside, talking late into the evening, or praying quietly with someone else.

This is space to bring your career before God.

Space to think clearly and strategically about disciple-making impact.

Two women stand at the front door of a house, greeting a visitor inside. The visitor is a woman wearing a plaid shirt, with short curly hair, smiling and holding the door open. The two women at the door are smiling, one with long dark hair, wearing a plaid shirt and backpack, and the other with black hair, wearing a sleeveless top and backpack, standing on a porch with a green, leafy background.

The heart of the weekend: the 5 practices

Across the retreat, we explore five biblical practices that shape a career of lasting fruitfulness.

To aim for the greatest disciple-making impact, I commit to:

  1. Abide daily - I seek Jesus first

  2. Work strategically - I choose and use my career for maximum impact

  3. Live simply - I cap my lifestyle to give radically

  4. Give effectively - I give it where it will produce the most fruit

  5. Mobilise others - I multiply impact by raising up other fruitful workers

From everyone who has been given much, much will be required. (Luke 12:48)

These practices are explored through a series of focused sessions across the weekend:

  • a generation all-in for Jesus: casting a bold vision for how we can go all-in for Jesus with our careers (30 mins)

  • abide daily: all lasting fruit comes from Jesus (90 mins)

  • work strategically, part 1: does impact matter? (75 mins)

  • work strategically, part 2: choosing and using my career for maximum disciple-making impact (75 mins)

  • live simply: a practical, biblical exploration of generosity (90 mins)

  • give effectively: stewarding God’s money wisely (75 mins)

  • mobilise others: discipling others to go all-in for Jesus (45 mins)

  • action planning: turning conviction into clear, personal next steps (75 mins)

Woven throughout the weekend is plenty of time for prayer and worship, as well as space to reflect, discuss, and process together over meals.

Two young men standing in a kitchen holding plates with salad, engaging in conversation. One is wearing a white t-shirt with a necklace, the other a black-and-white checkered shirt. A bottle of wine and glasses are on the table.

How the weekend works

Retreats run two days, one night.

The rhythm is simple and proven – similar to Alpha or Christianity Explored:

  • short video teaching

  • Bible study

  • group discussion

  • individual reflection

  • prayer and worship woven throughout

  • shared meals and unstructured time

We intentionally prioritise discussion and reflection.

This isn’t about information overload, but about processing, conviction, and application.

What you’ll leave with

Guests report:

  • a clearer sense of calling and direction

  • a biblical framework for career, money, and generosity

  • conviction rooted in Scripture

  • practical next steps for the next season of life

  • renewed motivation to pursue disciple-making impact

Many describe a genuine shift in how they think and act.

“It’s entirely shifted my perspective and actions in this area.”

“It helped me follow through on ideas God had already placed on my heart.”

“I now see my career as something God wants to use strategically.”

Three people sitting on chairs indoors, engaging in a meeting or event, with a woman in the center looking to her left, a man on the left holding a phone, and an older man on the right holding a pamphlet.

This is designed to move people from good intentions to intentional lives.

Is this retreat for you?

A young man with dark hair and a mustache, sitting on an orange couch, is deeply focused on reading a black book with a green border. Several books and papers are spread out on the table in front of him, surrounded by two standing individuals, one wearing khaki pants and a gray hoodie, and the other in blue jeans.

This weekend is for Christians who:

  • want to take Jesus seriously with their whole lives

  • want to think clearly about impact, not just comfort or success

  • are open to being challenged by Scripture and prayer

You don’t need to have your career figured out.

You just need to be willing to stop, listen, and respond.

What our guests say

“I loved the deep discussion.”

“It’s entirely shifted my perspective and actions.”

“The sessions had lots of scripture, which was great, so every claim was backed up.”

“It’s really important that we run fruitful work-type retreats so that people can come in contact with these ideas, as they’re quite infrequently found in churches across this country.”

“The biggest takeaway for me was really being able to put words and frameworks over the thoughts I loosely had beforehand, so I can actually understand where I want to go next with my career, all-in for Jesus.”

Six people walking on a dirt path through green fields on a clear day.
